Anna Sturgeon is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in Houston, Tx. She is a proud wife and mother of two children. She received her Bachelors in Psychology from Texas A&M and her Masters in Human Development and Early Childhood Disorders from University of Texas at Dallas. She became a BCBA in 2016 and has focused her work around early childhood/adolescent intervention for the past decade. She has worked in various clinical ABA settings and charter schools. Throughout her career she recognized the importance of early assessment, intervention and education for families. Unfortunately so many families experience lengthy waitlists for assessment, unclear instructions or recommendations for therapies, and a general lack of individualized compassion. To bridge that gap in her local community, Anna started Shine Behavior Services in 2024 with the goal of providing low-cost, no waitlist autism evaluations, caregiver support services (virtual and in person) as well as development trainings for professionals and volunteers working closely with special needs families. Compassionate care and individualized support is the core of Shine's purpose with the goal of "Shining a light on your family's autism journey".
